2010 Abuja Bombing Suspect Escapes From Kuje Prison – Report

Sahara Reporters is reporting that the leader of the Movement For The Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), Charles Okah, has escaped from Kuje Prison in Abuja.

Okah, who is believed to be the mastermind of the 2010 Independence Day bombing in Abuja, scaled the prison walls around 7.30 pm on Friday, June 24 alongside another inmate.

At least 27 people were reported dead in the bombing attack allegedly led by the militant leader.

However, report had that a massive manhunt to rearrest Okah is already underway.
