2013 CAF Champions League: Coton Sport defeats Sewe Sport

Cameroonian club Coton Sport on Sunday pipped visiting Sewe Sport of Cote d’Ivoire 1-0 in their rescheduled 2013 CAF Champions League match, with the victory shooting the home team to the top of Group B table with 3 points from two matches.

Alexis Yougouda scored the lone goal in the match, played in Cameroon’s port city of Garoua, in the second half.

SavidNews reports that Coton Sport’s victory came despite the team being reduced to 10 men before the interval, after Jacques Hama was expelled.

Though all the other teams in the group (Esperance of Tunisia, Recreativo do Libolo and Sewe Sport) have three points each, same as Coton Sport, the Cameroonians lead on superior goals.
