2013 Fed Cup: Abia Warriors, Enyimba eyes places in Round of 16 in Lokoja

The chase for the 2013 Federation Cup continues as 32 clubs including the defending champions, Heartland of Owerri, league leaders, Kano Pillars keep sight on securing their round of six berth in the on-going most-celebrated and longest football tournament in Nigeria, Federation Cup.

The 25,000 capacity-seater of Lokoja Confluence Stadium will welcome two-Glo Premier League clubs including two-times CAF Champions League winner, Enyimba of Aba and Kaduna United among four visiting clubs.

Other Federation Cup campaigners includes Kaduna United, NPFL-bound duo of Abia Warriors and Remo Stars will storm Lokoja when this year’s Federation Cup competition hits the Round of 32 junction on Wednesday, July 17 with teams battling to make it to the Round of 16.

SavidNews Nigeria can reliably report that Kaduna United will play Abia Warriors at 2pm while Enyimba International of Aba battle Remo Stars of Lagos at 4pm on the same day.
