2013 Male Fed Cup : Last Eight Draws, Venues Out

The battle for who makes the last four in the on-going 2013 Federation Cup will light up the country on Wednesday, 31th July, 2013.

Four centres across the country – Kaduna, Ilorin, Abeokuta and Abeokuta will be alive for the last eight encounter of the most-celebrated and longest-played football tournament.

Defending Federation Cup back-to-back champions Heartland who edged out Sharks of Port-Harcourt on 5-4 on penalties after a one-all draw tackles Akwa United of Uyo in the sporting northern capital of Kaduna.

Last year Semi-finalist, Kano Pillars looks to put behind them memories of missing out in the finals when they trade tackle Warrior Wolves in Ilorin after dumping out Gombe United 1-0.

Simultaneously on Wednesday in Abeokuta, The Solid Miners of Nasarawa, Nasarawa United will be slogging out with Enyimba International of Aba just less-than 2-week both met in Lafia which ended 1-1.

Sameway, lone Nigerian National League representative and and twin-club standing from Uyo, Akwa Starlets will looking forward to continue in their exploits against last year finalist and runner-up, Lobi Stars of Markudi in Enugu after both sending Abia Warriors and ABS packing respectively.
