2015: Don’t Concede Presidency, South-south Group Cautions Jonathan
The Voice of the South-south (VOSS), a socio-political and cultural organisation, has urged President Goodluck Jonathan not be intimidated by the mounting opposition against his administration and his quest for a second term in office.
At a press conference to announce its formation in Port Harcourt Thursday, the group, which had members from the six South-south states, said nothing less than a second shot at the presidency by Jonathan was acceptable.
President of the group, Mr. Mike Ogiasa, said VOSS would not allow anybody or group to intimidate Jonathan into abandoning the quest for a second tenure in office.
