2015 Polls: Gov Wada, Dekina LG Boss resolves Rift
The quest for 2015 political positions which recently pitched Dekina Council Chairman, Mohammed Ali against one of his political godfather who doubles as Kogi state governor, Captain Idris Wada may have been amicably resolved.
A local tabloid, National Bearer in its findings made public that trouble started when the recently elected Dekina LG boss sort for the Chairmanship position of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Northern Zone chapter.
He was said to have used some of his Abuja based political godfathers and shoved away Captain Wada to clinch the Chairmanship position on July 7, 2013.
With Mr Ali still celebrating his victory, some mischief makers reported to have falsely intimated governor Wada on his ambition to use the Northern ALGON Chairmanship position in manipulating the presidency to gun for Kogi governorship election in 2015.
The report was reported to have created some atmosphere of distrusts and jolted the governor whom afterwards moved to begin keeping close watch on Hon Ali’s activities.
The tabloid reported that the Governor who aided Hon Ali’s victory at the Councils poll against all odds in the last May 4 Kogi Local Government election instructed his aides to search for a prove on the LG boss 2015 governorship ambition.
Some unconfirmed sources indicated that the governor’s aides stumbled at a video clip of a nocturnal meeting of Hon Ali’s political associates on the 2015 agenda.
Source said when Hon Ali got wind of the plot against him, immediately sought an audience with the governor which on the later ended amicably.
In spite of the said amicable resolution, professional politicians have advised Hon Ali to watch his back carefully even as his consolidate on his political structures.
