The President-elect, who thanked Nigerians for casting their votes for APC en mass during the last Presidential and National Assembly polls, said the country is endowed with human and natural resources, “but unfortunately, the resources were mismanaged and squandered, leading to the present situation in the land.”

He noted that with the support and sacrifice of Nigerians, there will be light at the end of the tunnel, expressing hope that with the resolve of Nigerians to effect change, the country will be the better.

He promised that in the course of running his government, he will not favour or discriminate against anyone, adding that he will ensure that Nigeria’s resources are fairly and judiciously distributed across all nooks and crannies of the land.

“We will run a transparent government and in doing so, I will not favour my family,” he said.

The President-elect, who was accompanied by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the National Chairman of the Party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, and Senator Olurunnimbe Mamora had earlier visited Lamido Adamawa, Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa.
