7th Francophone games in Nice, France
The seventh Francophone Games, holding from 7-15 September in Nice, France, will be declared open by the French president, Francois Hollande, according to a communiqué issued by the Organizing Committee of the Games (CIJF) which PANA obtained here Thursday.
It said the heads of State and Government of French-speaking countries expected at the opening ceremony are Ivorian leader Alassane Ouattara, Senegalese Macky Sall and Lebanon’s Michel Sleiman.
CIJF said major French-Speaking actors and artistes will grace the opening ceremony which will be broadcast live on channels such as TV5 Monde, Africable, Telesud, Vox Africa, RTI, RTS, France 24 France O and France 3.
The Francophone games bring together youth from various French-Speaking countries across the globe.
The games are held every four years.
