Adama Sights Confluence Beach Boys Feat “Good Sign for Kogi Football”

emergence as winners at the just concluded 2013 CBN Beach Soccer Challenge Cup as “indeed a good sign for Kogi football”.

The Lokoja based Beach Club secured a 9-2 victory of over FCT BSC in the finals of the just concluded 2013 CBN Beach Soccer FA Cup in Abuja on Sunday.

Mallam Adama congratulated the Coach Adamu Ejor led Beach boys in a reaction moments after the team recorded their impressive victory.

“I congratulate the Kogi Confluence Beach Soccer Club for the successful outing in today’s final, beating FCT BSC by 9 goals to 2,” he said.

On what the victory means to Football in Kogi state, the Special Adviser on Public, Private Partnership (PPP), to Governor Idris Wada said, “This indeed is a good sign for better days to come in Kogi Football.”

The former Proprietor of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC bided the Kogi Beach boys “Safe trip back home”.
On the road to the final, the Confluence Beach boys thrashed Team Kaduna 7-4 on Saturday evening at the Accra street of Zone 5 Beach pitch, after hammering Aso Saving team 10-1 in their opening on Friday.
