Ardova Handball Premier League 2024: Handball Federation of Nigeria to hold Anti-Doping seminar for participating teams

The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has announced an Anti-Doping Seminar/Workshop for all participating teams in the ongoing Ardova Handball Premier League 2024 Phase 1, taking place in Benin City, Edo State.

According to a statement from HFN Secretary General, Mr. Almu Umar Lambu, the seminar is scheduled for Sunday at 10 AM in the indoor sports hall of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

“The Board of Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) is inviting all participating teams in the ongoing Ardova Premier League to attend the Anti-Doping Seminar/Workshop,” stated Mr. Lambu.

“The essence of the workshop is for the clubs in the Ardova Handball Premier League 2024 to be abreast of the latest anti-doping rules binding our sport and, by extension, our league. The facilitators are seasoned authorities on the matter.”

Mr. Lambu expressed gratitude to Ardova PLC, the premier league sponsor, for their support and financing of the workshop. He emphasized the importance of attendance, urging all heads of contingents to ensure compliance, as participation is mandatory.

“On behalf of the board of the Handball Federation of Nigeria, I want to thank our premier league sponsor for sponsoring this anti-doping seminar, as they understand the need for transparency in sports,” Mr. Lambu continued.

“All Heads of Contingents should ensure compliance, as attendance is mandatory. Note that there shall be sanctions for absence.”
