Gombe who were disqualified in the U13 competition going on in the nations capital drew the curtain raiser, and after that they were pegged back by Falconets.

The team under the tutelage of Peter Dedevbo rallied back as they bombarded the Gombe boys with some all attack football.

Falconets eventually levelled up late in the game when inspirational skipper and Delta Queens ace, Patience Okaeme was brought down and Rivers Angels midifielder Asisat Oshoala coolly scored from the spot.

Nigerians are hoping the team would complete the work they started as they prepare to lock-ons with their South African counterparts in the final rounds of Canada 2014 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
