Basketball: D’Tigers Dream AfroBasket Cup win in Abidjan

President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, Tijani Umar said the senior national basketball team, D’Tigers, is set to bring the elusive Afrobasket Cup to the country as the players have seen it all.

He added that they would be doing themselves injustice if they failed to seize this chance to rule Africa.

In the same vein, head Coach of the Team, Ayo Bakare says he believes in the ability of his team to face any foe as they are well prepared to face all opponents.

Elsewhere, captain of the side, Olumide Oyedeji is confident that Nigeria will emerge winners of the Afrobasket tournament in Abidjan.

The 27th FIBA Africa Championship (AfroBasket) dunks off today August 20th in Abidjan.
