Kogi born artist Debie Ebun Rise alongside Bassy were introduced to the Big Brother Naija housemates by the presenter of the show and a former Big Brother Nigeria housemate, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Sunday.
However, the BBN housemates were shocked on Sunday when the contestants nominated for eviction were told to remain in the house.
The reality TV show which started on Sunday, January 22, had announced that housemates, Marvis and TBoss, would be up for eviction on Sunday, January 27.
But rather than send one or both of them packing, two new housemates, Debie-Rise (pictured) and Bassey, were added to the Big Brother house.
Following the introduction, the housemates were enthused to learn that Marvis and TBoss were not going to be evicted, after all.
Biggie, the voice of Big Brother, will announce the housemates that would be up for eviction later in the week.
The reality television show has dominated the Nigerian internet space since its premiere, owing to controversies and shocking displays.
Last week, ThinTallTony stripped naked to campaign for votes that would keep him in the house.
The new housemates are already winning the hearts of viewers as Bassey turned out to be a comical individual while Debie-Rise is a good singer.
