Bilateral Relations: Jonathan to embark on A 3-Day visit to Kenya
President Goodluck Jonathan will be going on a three-day state visit to Kenya for bilateral talks.
According to a press statement, the number one citizen of Nigeria will be meeting with Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, a trip he will embark on from Thursday 5th September.
The visit which is aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation, between Nigeria and Kenya was initiated by President Kenyatta, during his visit to Abuja in July and bilateral talks which will begin on Friday 6th will focus on the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, economic development, agriculture and tourism development.
The president is also scheduled to participate in a business forum with leading Kenyan and Nigerian investors.
The president will be embarking on the state visit with the First lady, Dame patience Jonathan, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry, Trade & Investment, Interior, Petroleum Resources and Culture and Tourism & National Orientation.
The president will be rounding off with a joint session with the Kenyan Parliament and a meeting with Nigerians resident in Kenya, before returning to Abuja on Saturday.
