South Africa routed Botswana 4-1 in their 2014 FIFA World Cup final Group A match played in Durban on Saturday.

Two late goals by Bernard Parker in the 84th minute and a penalty kick in the 89th minute gave Bafana Bafana a convincing victory.

Kermit Erasmus had put South Africa in the lead in the 28th minute and Dean Furman increased the tally in the 46th minute.

Botswana’s Jerome Ramatlhakwane pulled one back for Botswana in the 73rd minute before Parker’s goals demolished Botswana.

According to the results of Saturday’s matches being monitored by SavidNews from Accra, Ethiopia beat Central African Republic(CAR) 2-1 in the second group A match played in Brazzaville.

Saif Keita scored for CAR in the 23rd minute.

Ethiopia’s Saladhin Ahmed equalised in the 48th minute and Menyahel Teshome shot Ethiopia into the lead in the 61st minute.
