Courageously, the two-time continental champions led by victory-hungry Zakare Baraje tactically showed his expertise after bringing on the winning goal poacher in Sibi Gwar for Ifeanyi Ede who came close with a header of Markson Ojobo’s cross before the break.
However, Sibi Gwar secured the equalizer in the 82nd before Kingsley Sokari stormed the Nigeria continental campaigner in front, followed by a late banger from Sibi Gwar in added time to erupt songs in the stadium at regulation time.
In the meantime, Enyimba will travel for Togo with a 3-1 advantage lead against Anges De Notse for the return leg on 16th February.
