The Local Organising Committee for the Orange CHAN 2014 has offered huge incentive(s) to those lucky football lovers who will be the first to buy tournament tickets when they go on sale on 29 November.

The LOC has urged the public to break the mould of buying tickets at the last moment and stand a chance of being invited as VIPs at the Opening Ceremony in Cape Town on 11 January 2014, regardless of which part of the country they come from, provided they were the first to buy the tickets nationally. Furthermore, those who bought tickets on the first day at the hosting provinces will be entered into a draw and 3 lucky ticket holders and their partners will be invited as VIPs to the first matches at their respective host cities.

Explaining to the public, Mr. Mvuzo Mbebe, LOC CEO, said: “We know that South Africans and Africans in general never disappoint when called to action. This time, we as the LOC are saying we will bring to Cape Town 3 couples who are registered by Computicket as having been the first ones to have bought tickets for Orange CHAN 2014. These football loving Africans will be special VIPs guest of the LOC in Cape Town and be the first to witness the spectacular Opening Ceremony, whilst also enjoying the first 2 matches of the tournament where South Africa vs Mali, and Nigeria vs Mozambique will play to record their first win of the competition. Also, those first to buy tickets at the host cities will have the pleasure being our guest at the host cities for the first match(es). We are therefore saying put us to the test and go be the first to buy a ticket for any of 32 matches and you will join us at Cape Town on 11 January and at the respective host cities”.
