COACH Alabi, Bazuaye, Others For Oba Ovoranmwen Final, Gala Award Night

The final of the Oba Ovoranmwen gold cup which kick off last will be played next week at the Sam Ogbemudia stadium between Benin Vipers of Edo South and Dynamite fc of Edo North on the 18th of january 2014.

According to the Tournament Director Ikponwosa Edebiri arrangement for the final is set, “i want to say all is set for the final of the oba ovoranmwen gold cup football championship. l want to use this medium to say happy new year to all the teams that took part in the tournament and again to inform them that the final is coming up on the 18th of this month.”

The final is going to be colourful there are many activities on that day, part of the programme is to honour some ex players and coaches.

Topping the list of coaches is former national team coach Alabi Assien, Coach Willy Bazuaye,Emmanuel Egharevba and the head coach football edo state sports council Emmanuel Obasuyi aka Shakara and many others just to mention a few.

The Honourable commissioner for sports, Hon Omorede Osifo will be guest of Honour, Chief Oyuki Jackson Obaseki former NPL chairman and second vice president of NFF will be special Guest of Honour.

Others expected in the final are some top sports personality, father of the day is royal majesty Omo N Oba N Edo Uku Akpolokpolo OBA EREDIAUWA, Oba of Benin Kingdom.

His Excellency Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomhole Governor of Edo state and his Deputy will be special Guest of Honour, Chief Host Chief Dr. Solomon Iyobosa Edebiri, CEO Solomon Iyobosa Edebiri Centre for Change.

The third place match will also be played on the same day the gala night and award will take place at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Centre, i must also want to give kudos to the Edo football association secretary Victor Edokpayi, Dr. Aghaedo and sapele Uwadia for their contribution to the success of the tournament obaseki sound happily.
