Costa Rica 2014: I’m yet to have a World Cup team- Bala Nikyu

Brillfm.net: As the 2014 FIFA women’s U-17 world cup approaches, coach of Nigeria’s U-17 girls’ team, Bala Nikyu says his team has not yet attained full tournament level.

Nikyu however assured that the team will be ready in a month’s time to compete with other countries for honors when the world cup in Costa Rica gets underway.adeboyejo

“Well all the other qualifying teams are also preparing and anyone who can stand up and beat his chest now that his team is ready maybe making a mistake.

“We equally are preparing for the tournament in Costa Rica with the players just two-weeks old in camp but I can guarantee that in the next one month, the team will be better than what we have on ground right now,” the former Niger Tornadoes tactician added.

Nigeria, Ghana and Zambia will be the three countries representing the CAF confederation at this year’s edition of the
FIFA U17 World cup in Costa Rica from the 15th of march- 4th April.
