After catching the admiration of the teaming supporters of CSKA Moscow, Nigeria international, Ahmed Musa have been voted the best PFC Player of the Month for August.
According to report on the club’s official website, the Super Eagles dashing winger polled a total of 42 percent of the total votes to beat the team’s captain and goalkeeper, Igor Akinfeev, to the second position.
The report announcing his victory read:”fans of PFC CSKA named Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa the best Army Men year of August.
Ahmed scored 41.4 percent of the votes in poll on club’s official website.
Captain and goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev came second with 34 percent of votes. Misa in August, was twice honoured as the best player of the match in the game in volving Tom and Amkar.”
Already, the Nigerian winger has started again on a second footing, strategizing as one of the contenders for the award for the month of September after the fans rated him the second Most Valuable Player in the game against Rostov recently.
The former Kano Pillars FC scooped a total of 46.10 percent out of the 458 vote to trail teammate, Bazelyuk, adjudged the MVP with a total number 265 supporters’ unanimously agreeing that he was outstanding in the game.
Others closing, following the duo of Musa and Bazelyuk in the third and fourth positions include team’s captain and goalkeeper, Igor Akinfeev as well as Berezutski with seven and six percent of the votes respectively.
