Danjuma Picks Nwabuoku, Oparanoize and 16 Others for Battle in Bata

Interim head coach of the Super Falcons, Christopher Danjuma has picked 18 players for this weekend battle in Bata; the third round, 2nd leg qualifier for Rio 2016 Olympic Games qualifier with Equatorial Guinea.
Super Falcons get first training
The team are expected to leave the country on Thursday, July 30 for the crucial second leg qualifer in pursuit of the Olympic Game ticket.

The team will arrive in Malabo at 3am on Friday, July 31 aboard CEIBA airline, and thereafter, proceed to mainland Bata at 7am.

The Super Falcons team are scheduled to have an official training at the Stadium Nkoatoma de Bata on Saturday, ahead of Sunday’s clash between the two strongest women’s football playing nations in Africa.

Super Falcons were held to a 1-1 draw by Equatorial Guinea at the Abuja National Stadium a fortnight ago, will be bidding to qualifier for the intercontinental event having missed out of the 2012 edition held in London.

Tochukwu Oluehi, Evelyn Nwabuoku, Blessing Edoho, Osarenoma Igbinovia, Joy Jegede, Osinachi Ohale, Martina Ohadugha, Desire Oparanozie, Cecilia Nku, Sarah Nnodim, Ngozi Ebere, Amarachi Okoronkwo, Ngozi Okobi, Chioma Wogu, Mercy Amanze, Precious Dede, Gladys Akpa and Chinaza Uchendu.
