The chairmanship ambition of Lady Sandra Demian was given a boast yesterday as political leaders in Oshimili South endorsed her ambition as the most qualify aspirant with maximum exposure to take the LGA to the next level.
This Maximum endorsement came during the conclusion of her ward tour at ward 11 cable point in Asaba.
The chairmanship hopeful who describe herself as a sent servant said she was called upon by her people to represent them due to her contribution to society in various ways saying that as Chairman of her Council she will do much more beyond mere empowerment.
Lady Sandra demian assure the people of oshimili south local government that she will bring the needed change in the area when elected as chairman. Lady Sandra who concluded her ward tour at ward 11 cable point yesterday said she knows the cry of the people and have all it takes to wipe off their tears. Lady Demian who describe herself as an agent of change said the level of support and endorsement given to her by her people is her greatest inspiration saying that she will not let them down in the forth coming local government election.
Also speaking the former secretary to Oshimili South LG Hon. Chika Osadebay said We believe in the sound experience of the Only Female aspirant in the race Chukwudumebi Demian. We have confidence in her deep knowledge in the public and private sector, her deep knowledge and understanding of the intricacies and nuances of our society and her record in the public service have sufficiently placed her in a vantage position to provide desirable leadership in the state” the youths said.
The Asaba leaders promised to campaign hard across the length and breadth of Oshimili south local government noting that most of the rumoured contestants for the chairmanship seat have nothing to offer the area. We are in the era of zoning. If our messiah will come from Okoh so be it. Our decision is in line with the PDP zoning arrangement as well as the 35% affirmative action for women emphasis by president Goodluck Jonathan.
She is a great daughter of Anioma, a pride to the Asaba committee who provided massive employment to Asaba youth and Women through her influence at the federal and the state.
She is one with extra-ordinary flames of passion for the development of the less privileged people in the society. She will open doors of opportunities for Aniomas and promotes the cause of peace. Through her philanthropy gesture many have been helped. Indeed, she is a rare gem” they said.
