The Directorate of State Security, DSS, on Thursday invaded the Abuja resident of the immediate past National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, a retired Colonel to stop him from seeking medical treatment abroad.

In July, the DSS had arrested Dasuki after a prolonged siege on his Abuja home.

Last Tuesday, Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court granted the request of former NSA under former president Goodluck Jonathan for his travelling document be released in order to take care his deteriorating health.

Sources report that Dasuki’s travelling plans on Wednesday night was aborted following a tip-off of his possible arrest by the DSS, who allegedly plans to arrest him or scuttle his planned medical trip.

In a related development, Premium Times reports that Dasuki has been placed under house arrest with the security agency’s personnel seen surrounding his residence.
