Elections – Ahmed Pleads For Massive Votes For Tinubu, Other APC Candidates In Kogi

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kogi State Barrister Naseer Ahmed,has charged the people of the state to vote massively for Tinubu-Shatima and all other candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.

Ahmed gave the charge on Wednesday in Lokoja while speaking with journalists at the sideline of the party’s presidential campaign rally held at the Confluence Stadium.

He said the mass mobilisation which resulted into the sea of heads witnessed at the rally should be sustained until victory is achieved.

Ahmed also said that it was a clear testimony that the APC presidential candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu would win the February 25 presidential election.

He stated that the APC stands a good chance of retaining power in Kogi state and at the center, giving the dexterity of its presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his performance as Lagos State governor and the innovations he pioneered that have placed the Lagos ahead of other states in Nigeria.

The party chieftain charged APC members to see themselves as ambassadors of the party and conduct themselves in a manner worthy of promoting the party values and marketing its aims and objectives across the length and breath of Kogi state and Nigeria at large.

Ahmed,the Dan Darman Lakwaja, maintained that with the massive turnout of APC members who tirned out to welcome Tinubu-Shatima campaign trail at the confluence stadium Lokoja, it was crystal clear that the presidential candidate is coasting to victory.

He emphasised that the APC and the its entire leadership understand the ” issues and are certainly deploying the right messages and strategies required to win the next elections and retain power at the center and Kogi State in the forthcoming elections.”

He then appealed to the people of the state party to vote for APC from top to bottom in the forthcoming general elections

Ahmed thanked the people for their overwhelming turn out, support and cooperation before and after the rally , which he described as peaceful and well organised.
