Ex-Flying Eagles keeper Ojo Olorunleke Eyes Sunshine Stars debut After Giwa Exit

Ojo Olorunleke is hoping to make his debut for the Sunshine Stars in Nnewi against FC Ifeanyi Ubah in a NPFL week 25 encounter.

The former Nigeria U20 goalkeeper pulled interest from top NPFL clubs after Giwa FC was expelled from the League, but he couldn’t move until the League Management Company (LMC) gave a direction that players of the Jos base club can move to choice clubs.

Olorunleke has travelled with the Sunshine Stars squad to face Ifeanyi Ubah on Sunday afternoon.

” I’ve always believed in God in everything I do and trust that He’ll see through victory in Sunday,” Olorunleke told Goal.

“Yes I’ve been out of action for a while but I’ve been very active in training preparing for a real match situation. I knew it in not too distant time I’ll be called to action.

“I know that a lot is expected from me but that hasn’t in anyway put me under pressure. I know that God will see me through today with a very good result.”
