Ex-Gov Abubakar Audu backs ruling Idris Wada to thrive Kogi

The former Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Prince Abubakar Audu has called on Kogi indigenes, home and abroad to give their supports to the present administration of Capt Idris Wada for the overall success of the state.

The former governor made the statement at the groundbreaking ceremony of KOGI HOUSE at the heart of the Nation’s capital, Abuja on the 27th of May, 2014.

Prince Audu who described Capt Wada as an excellent political leader said the construction of the KOGI HOUSE in Abuja is a means of increasing the revenue base of the state and the initiative after completion, will put the state at the front burner.

He called on all citizens of the state to contribute positively to the success of the present administration of a Capt Wada irrespective of political party, religious and ethnic differences.

Earlier, the Kogi State governor, Capt Idris Wada thanked the people of Kogi state for believing his ideal of placing kogi at the top echelon of the Nigerian states. He said the idea of building KOGI HOUSE in Abuja was born-out of the means of improving the revenue base of the state and among other things.

Present at the occasion were former Gubernatorial aspirant in the 2011 election in kogi state, Alhaji Jibrin Isah, Local a Government a Chairmen, top government officials, eminent sons and daughters of kogi within and outside the state.
