Ex-Justice Minister, Bayo Ojo flags-off Free Medical Services in Ijumu

The former Federation’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Chief Bayo Ojo (SAN) facilitated Non-Government Organisation, CKO Foundation has launched a free medical services for the citizens and residents of Ijumu Local Government.

The programme tagged “Ijumu Medical Mission 2013” will offer free services in Eye Care, Pediatrics, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Internal Medicine and General surgery.

The medical services programme is billed for Iffe Primary Health Care, Iffee-Ijumu from 2nd-6th September, 2013.

The development was made public by the former Federation’s Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Chief Bayo Ojo (SAN) in Iffe-
Ijumu during the Mid-year Conference of Ijumu Development Movement, saying that Medical Doctors would come in from the United States of America (USA).

The Obasorun of Okunland who spoke through his Personal Assistant, Rufus Aiyenugba said the purpose of his presence was to sensitive the people of the need to register.

Mr Rufus who also serves as the coordinator of the Programme in a visit to HRM, Oba(Dr) Jerome Sumonu and all Obas, Balees, Oloris, Community Leaders, Churches and Mosques posited that this is important to ensure that the people are well aware of the essence of health, hence the medical services.

According to him, the registration is free and on-going, urging the people of the area to make themselves available for their own
benefit.
