Ex-Super Eagles skipper Obi Mikel explains meeting with African richest man Dangote

Former Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has revealed that he is keen on a potential partnership with Afica’s richest man Aliko Dangote following their meeting on Tuesday.

Obi Mikel disclosed that he and his team share common idea and strategies with Dangote in the area of improving lives and encouraging the aspirations of the Nigerian Youth through sports.

The former Chelsea star took to the social network to share his excitement about seeing Dangote following a meeting he best described as a ‘remarkable outreach’.

“Exceptional gratitude to Alhaji Aliko Dangote GCON! it was a remarkable outreach and a unique honour that you hosted my team and I,” Mikel wrote on his official Instagram account.

“We had the opportunity to share our joint commitment to bettering lives and supporting dreams of the Nigerian Youth through sports. Nagode Alhaji.”

On Friday, Mikel who plays for Championship side Stoke City was appointed by the Federal Government of Nigeria as a Youth Ambassador and the talented midfielder had promised to do his best in his new role appears to have hit the ground running with the meeting with Dangote.
