The game played at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium saw the Ogun State outfit avenge their defeat against Kadiri Ikhana’s men having bowed to them last year at the same stage.

Nonso Paul put Remo Stars in the lead in the 38th minute but Enyimba battled back to level scores in the second half.

Daniel Ogunmodede’s men however emerged victorious during the shootout after Oche Salifou, Mbale Chukwujekwu and Adepogun Tayo converted their spot kicks as Enyimba were only able to get one in.
