Turkish side Fenerbahce have reached a €13million agreement fee with Spartak Moscow for Spartak Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike.

Emenike recently in an interview disclosed his desire to return to Turkey and play for to Fenerbahçe despite interests from EPL side West Ham.

The club in a statement released on the Istanbul Stock Exchange on Wednesday confirmed the move and the agreed fee.

“Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement with Spartak Moscow over the transfer of Emmanuel Emenike for €13 million.

“Emenike has until 12 August 2013 to pass his medical,’ the statement read.

Fenerbahçe will now have to sell a foreign player to accommodate Emenike as the Turkish Football Federations will only permit 10 foreign players per-club in the 2013-14 season.

Fenerbahçe signed Emenike from Karabükspor for €9 million in 2011 but was later sold to Spartak for €10 million without playing a single game for the Yellow Canaries.
