FIFA Rankings: Nigeria Women Best in Africa, 34 in World
Nigeria women national team has retained the top position in the latest FIFA rankings for African female national teams released in Zurich, Switzerland.
According to the rankings, Soccer Minnows Swaziland vaulted 17 places, from 33rd in August to 16th in December with a surprise jump was the only change in the top 20.
Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa and Equatorial Guinea maintained their second, third, fourth and fifth positions respectively.
Globally, USA, Germany, Japan, Brazil and France were the top five in that order.
