Fintiri defeats Binani to win second term

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been re-elected for a second term.

Officer of the State, Prof Mohammed Mele, declared Fintiri the winner after defeating Aishatu Dahiru of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Aishatu, also known as Binani, was previously declared the illegitimate winner by the suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC.
