First Bank Promotes Youth Empowerment with NLI Support

First Bank of Nigeria limited as part of its corporate social responsibility, have continued to focus on youth empowerment through the support of the Nigerian Leadership Initiative (NLI).

The NLI’s primary focus is to empower youths and inspire an emerging generation of leaders. The NLI provides a platform for Nigerian leaders to enhance their value-based leadership skills and to drive positive change in the development of Nigeria.

The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of First Bank, Mr. Bisi Onasanya, represented by an executive director of the bank, Mr. Daudu Lawal, applauded the initiative of NLI by pledging to further support upcoming events.

He said: ‘I am excited about this initiative which is designed to bridge the knowledge gap as well as buttress a core focus area of First Bank’s corporate responsibility programme, namely, youth empowerment.’
