Former Kogi state governor, Prince Abubakar Audu has been finally buried on Monday, a day after he died from a protracted illness leading to stroke.

Audu, whose is the All Progressives Congrss, APC, candidate in the inconclusive Saturday’s governorship election, holding a lead with supplementary election still awaited.
The remains of the was laid to rest in his residence at Ogbonicha, Ofun local government area of the state.
The burial rits were conducted by a team of Imam from the Igala land region.
