GloNPFL: Enyimba Targets Second Spot Finish
Aba-based Glo Nigeria Professional Football League side, Enyimba are desperate
Enyimba assistant coach Imama Amapakabo told the News Agency of Nigeria that they stand a chance of finishing in second position should results go their way.
“We’ve lost the title chase and what we are aiming for now is finishing second but that would depend on us winning our final game at home,” Amapakabo said.
“We have to keep praying that results of some matches elsewhere across the country will be in our favour before we can claim even the second position.”
Kano Pillars are on top of the table on 63 points followed by Bayelsa United in the second place on 61 points.
El-Kanemi Warriors occupy the third spot on 60 points while Enyimba sit on 59 points.
