GloNPFL: Warri Wolves Resume, Gets New Coach Monday

Warri Wolves Football Club will officially resume for the 2013/2014 Nigeria Professional Football League season on Monday, 18th, November, 2013.

A statement signed by the Media Manager, Etu Moses advised all the players to report unfailingly on Monday evening for their first training at the Warri City Stadium.

The statement warned the players to abide by this instruction as any of them found wanting would be termed to have abandoned his duty and normal sanction will follow.

Etu disclosed that those whose services are no longer required would be communicated with accordingly.

“The Board met and fixed next Monday for the resumption to start preparation for next season and they have advised all the players to report except few who will go due to one reason or the other. We shall make the names of those set of players available by Monday. We have also advised them not to fail as we have a lot to do next season. We want to do well not only in the league but the Continental assignment which is the Confederation Cup”.

On the issue of the Technical Adviser, Etu disclosed that they will not re-new the contract of Solomon Ogbeide but thanked him for what he has done for the Club and wish him success in his next assignment.

Etu however said by Monday, the Club will officially announce the name of the Technical Adviser and any other information that needs to be made public would be done on that day.

“We have decided not to re-new the contract of Coach Solomon Ogbeide. We cherish what he has done and wish him the best in his chosen career. The new man that will take over will be made known to the public by next week and we will also on that day tell the world what we intend to achieve come next season.”
