Kano Pillars have regained their place on the top of the table after the completion of the Glo Nigerian Premier League week 27 games at the weekend.
Pillars beat Sharks 1-0 in Kano to ensure a strong comeback, thanks to a Gambo Mohammed lone strike.

Ifeanyi Egwim’s second half goal sealed a 2-0 home win for Dolphins over Enugu Rangers, while Ndubuisi Ekwuribe’s brace gave Kaduna United a 2-0 win over visiting Nembe City.
Alaba Johnson also bagged a brace for Wikki Tourists as they recorded a 2-0 win at home over Sunshine Stars, while an early goal from Douglas Archiv gave Lobi Stars a slim 1-0 win over visiting Heartland FC at the Emmanuel Atongo Stadium in Kastina-Ala.
In Sunday’s game in Maiduguri, El Kanemi had a big result when they beat Warri Wolves 3-0 courtesy of first half strikes from Rafael Boumsong and Ebube Okpokwu, and a second half goal from Musa Yawale.
Enyimba lost 1-0 away to Kwara United in Ilorin.
Gombe United and Bayelsa United recorded 2-0 home wins over Nasarawa United and ABS FC, respectively.
