The Crocodiles’ tactical changes after half time brief pep talk was behind their 3-1 home win over newly promoted FC Taraba, Ben Duamlong, Kaduna United manager has said.
Kaduna United secured their first league win with a 3-1 victory at home against visitors resilience to pick an away point at the Ahmadu Bello stadium, Kaduna last weekend.
It was Coach Duamlong’s change of tactics that facilitated the turn-around in the second half as its open up goal gates with Siman Yusuf and Ibrahim Sanisu’s double sealing the all-important win at the end of regulation time.
“We need to win badly based on the result we got in our first game at Umuahia which was far from what we bargained for.
” We came out but the first half formation didn’t click as we ended that half in draw.
“But there were little adjustments here and there before the start of the second half and these led to our two more goals.
“FC Taraba came to prove a point but we thank God we won,” Duamlong told Sportinglife.
Kaduna who have three points from two games will travel to Uyo to keep a date with Akwa United for their week 3 encounter.
