Heartland continued their search for the first league win in the three-week old Glo Premier League after they were held to a goalless draw by the Blue Angels on Friday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
The game was not action packed and the whole of the first half was fraught with disjointed passes and lack of cutting edge with both sides left with only half chances to score.
Heartland had a goal harshly overruled in the first half and it was their best chance to take the lead as the rest of the game couldn’t produce anything spectacular till the match officials blew the final whistle.
Heartland head to Gombe United with a positive result a priority if they do not want to start flirting with relegation so early in the season while Sharks will welcome Crown of Ogbomosho to Port Harcourt.
