Oshoala beat compatriot Desire Oparanozie and Cameroonian goalkeeper Annette Ngo Ndom to the women’s top prize as well as winning the African Youth Player of the Year at the Glo/Caf awards ceremony held at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos.

She said the award meant a lot to her as she hopes to do more in 2015 and years to come.

“This award means a lot to me, to my career as I don’t seek this as a stop for me,” Oshoala told media.

“It’s more like an assignment for me to be a more better player next year and always.

The former FC Robo star also said she is undecided over her future at Rivers Angels despite having several offers from Europe.

“Talking about my move, if I will be leaving Rivers Angels for another club? Actually to be sincere, I have alot of clubs coming out for me, but i’m yet to decide where I want to go,” she continued.

“No doubt about it, Nigeria league is a very good league. You can see player playing in our league and yet still come out as the best woman player in Africa.

“Talking about leaving Africa for now, I’m yet to decide because I have at home what I’m going out to find,” she concluded.
