Idris Wada warns against Age Falsification by Civil Servants in Kogi

Kogi State Governor Idris Wada has warned civil servants in the state to desist from falsification of age in order stay longer in service.

Governor Wada gave the warning yesterday while assessing the ongoing biometric data capturing for civil servants in the state.

He urged the civil servants not to be afraid, saying government is making adequate arrangements to ensure that those who have attained the mandatory age of retirement are paid their full benefits.

The governor assured the civil servants that the exercise was not meant to witch hunt any one, adding that at the end the exercise, whatever is recovered will be used for their welfare.

Leader of the screening team, Mrs. Deborah Ogunmola, while briefing the governor, said adequate measures have been put in place to ensure the success of the exercise.
