Ijumu APC condemns attack, drums support for party deputy gov aspirant Faleke

The All Progressive Congress in Ijumu Local government area of Kogi State has condemned in strong terms the attack on the supporters of the party’s deputy governorship candidate, Chief James Faleke in Ayetoro Gbedde on Sunday.
The Chairman of the party in the area, Alhaji Taofeek Isah made the remark while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja.
Alhaji Taofeek described the attack as barbaric and uncalled for, saying the perpetrators will be brought to book.
According to him, the party will not tolerate any act of indiscipline, noting that anyone found wanting would be sanctioned.
He explained that Chief Faleke is a son of Ijumu that cannot be rejected or wished away, adding that the people of Ijumu are happy with his political antecedents.
He urged the members of the party in the area to be calm and law abiding and avoid the breaking down of law and order.
