Independence Cup: Victor Moses Net 4 As Scintillate College Boss Christfield 7-0

Striker Victor Moses fired four goals for Scintillate College of Lokoja to ease past opponents, Christfield College to a 7-0 victory in the opening of the “Independence Cup” organised by Gee-Touch World and Events in conjunction with SavidNews.com and Kogireports.com on Tuesday.

According to organisersindependence day cup, the ongoing football tournament tagged “The Independence Cup” is geared to marking the Nigeria 63rd Independence day.

The match which launched the battle for the Independence Cup witnessed a one-sided seven goals thriller with Scintilate making a statement against Christfield.

A Goal each from Emenike Samuel, Okpanachi Justice and Bolu Isaac completed the 7-0 demolition of Christfield in the opening will ensure the victorious side advance to the next stage.

The football competition is expected to begin Tuesday 24th September with the finals slated for Ist October, 2013, the Nigeria 53rd Independence Day.

The ten secondary schools participating are Scintillate College Lokoja, Christfield College Lokoja, Arigbede College Lokoja, Kings and Queens College Lokoja, Government Day Secondary School Lokoja, Al-Ansar College Lokoja and Baptist College Lokoja.

Others are Crowther Memorial College Lokoja, Baptist College Lokoja, Army Day Secondary School and Freedon Faith School Lokoja.

The Independence Cup which was organised by one of Nigeria’s leading event managing company, Gee-Touch World and Events, are in collaboration with two online tabliods – KogiReports.com and SavidNews.com.
