Kaduna Ready to host High-Profile Matches – Aminu
The Kaduna State Commissioner for Youth and Sport, Alhaji Aminu Sani has told Naijasportscentre.com the Northern state are ready to host more top Football games in Nigeria.
The state government last Saturday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium hosted the Home-Based Super Eagles CHAN qualifier against Ivory Coast, the game Keshi Boys won 4-1.
Aminu revealed that with the level of facility in the state they can host more Super Eagles and other National teams games.
“The Ahmadu Bello stadium is one of the best in this country in terms of facility, the grass is lush and good for the game. I can say it with confidence that the grass is the best we have in the country at this moment.
“It was great to host the Africa champions and their rival in the state, the security at the stadium was perfect and the fans bless the game with great turnout.
“The state is ready to host more of the Super Eagles and other National teams game.” Aminu said.
The young commissioner speaking at the state house venue for the hosting of the two National teams after the game, congratulated the Home-Based for their victory but charged them to get the job in Abijan.
“The victory is sweet and well deserved; the boys showed the quality they were made off and proved they are truly Africa champions. We defeated their senior team at South Africa and we confirmed again we are the better side.
“We are impressed and we hope they will get the job done in Abijan and pick the maiden ticket for themselves.
Aminu expressed gratitude to the Kaduna State governor Dr. Mukhatar Ramallan Yero for his commitment and supports towards the Eagles victory and also thanked the teaming supporters who turned out in mass to cheer the Home-Based Eagles to victory.
