Kogi AIG decorates 13 newly promoted officers and 2 other ranks

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 8 in Lokoja, AIG Christopher Dega has decorated 13 newly promoted officers from the state command.police

Dega,who decorated the officers at his office in Zone 8,Lokoja.

He congratulated them on behalf of the Inspector General of Police,Mr Mohammed Abubakar.

He urged them to see their promotion as a more tasking service to the nation.

Dega,called on the newly promoted officers not to see their promotion as a right but as a rear privilege to serve Nigeria in a higher capacity.

He urged them to work in accordance with the laws governing the Nigeria Police,noting that they have to provide good services to members of the public.

Dega,called on the promotees to use their new rank to impact new ideas and techniques to the force.

In his remarks,Mr Nurudeen Amodu,one of the newly promoted officers who spoke on behalf of other promotees, thanked the inspector General of Police for the great honour.

He noted that they would work assiduously with other colleagues to make sure crimes are reduced.

Amodu,said they promise the force to always be faithful to the services of the nation.

The newly promoted officers are 1 Deputy superintendent who is now promoted to a Superintendent by name,Mr Nurudeen Amodu.

Others are 12 Inspectors who are now promoted to Assistant Superintendent namely,Mr Augustine Sule,Mr Paul Okolo,Mr Johnson Ojo and Mr Yakubu Abu.

The rest are,Mr Abel Agada,Mr Abah Samuel,Mr Omachonu Emanuel,Mr Ekundayo Aiyenigba,Mr Alfa Michael,Mr Yahaya Shaibu,Mr Peter Anyiah and Mr Sule Ejima.

The newly promoted other ranks are,Mr Gbenga Oyeleye who was promoted from Corporal to Sergent and Mr Adeyemi Tunde,Costable to Corporal.
