In strong solidarity for Honourable James Faleke’s quest for justice, the leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi West have rejected the deputy governorship offer dangled by Governor-elect Yahaya Bello.

It was a row call of well-meaning, selfless leaders and stakeholders from the western axis of Kogi State today at a meeting in Kabba.

The stakeholder meeting was convened to review options before the zone after the recently concluded protracted governorship election in the state.

The meeting unanimously endorsed the legal action embarked upon by Faleke against Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to reclaim his ‘stolen’ mandate. The leaders, in unison, stated their stand for justice in the political imbroglio.

The meeting resolved that the Kogi West APC will not recognize or associate with anyone from the zone who opts for deputy governorship position under Yahaya Bello, who was announced winner of the supplementary election by INEC.

While calling on Kogi indigenes to remain calm during the course of legal tussle, the leaders, in firm stance, mandated Faleke to rejects calls and entreaties to take up the deputy governorship position under the current circumstances.
