Kogi FMC Seeks Gov Wada Backing on Permanent Site

The Board Chairman of the Federal Medical Center,Lokoja Alhaji Muhammed Abubakar has lauded the Free Medical Care Delivery Programme of the Kogi state Governor Captain Idris Wada.

The Board Chairman who led other member of the board including the Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Center, Lokoja Dr.
Eleshin Gbadebo on a courtesy called to Kogi state Governor, Captain Idris Wada commended him for his confidence in internal medical treatment during the auto crash as he called for the state government’s assistance to Federal Medical Center Lokoja to enable it operate effectively.

He also pleaded with the Governor to hasten the Certificate of Occupancy ‘C of O ‘ to the FMC permanent site stressing that they will always give total support to Wada’s administration in its health care delivery Programme.

In his respond, Captain Wada congratulated the Board Chairman on his well deserved appointment noting that FMC Lokoja contributed in facilitating the health care delivery in the state.

He mentioned his administration had not relented in youth and women empowerment nothing that 80,000 patients had so far enjoyed the Free Medical Scheme across the state.

According to him, the hospital Should do more to ensure the good health of the people of the state.

On the issue of C of O for the land of the permanent site of the hospital, the Governor promised to issue it very soon saying that his government will render more support to the hospital.
