Kogi Tourism Ministry Boss Hails Govt role in Capital Face-lift
Kogi State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Barrister Thomas Acholo has applauded the present government for its development projects towards giving Lokoja, Kogi capital a face-lift.
This commendation was made on Thursday the Ministry of Culture and Tourism boss said the state is becoming more decent and can compete favourably with other counterparts in the federation.
“Kogi state will be one of the state that other states will want to compete with in the area of beautification and neatness.,” said Commissioner.
He stated that the planting of flower and the recent clearing of Ganaja junction by the state waste management board (SWMB) is an effort of making the state clean.
Acholo emphasized on the employment of security men to guide and and ensure the vandals are hindered from their wicked activities in the state.
He employ the state government to make haste in putting street light on the street of Lokoja so that the vandals will be expose.
Commissioner also pleaded with Kogi people to be patient and not to destroy the government works so as to leave like one family that we are.
