Kwara United coaches escape death in road accident

Kwara United head coach Tunde Abdulrahman and his assistant Tunde Sanni on their way to Bayelsa escaped death in a road accident that happened on Friday morning in Elegbeka.
The Harmony Warriors were on their way to honour a Nigeria Premier League Week 14 clash with Bayelsa United scheduled for Sunday, June 28 when the auto crash happened.
The road accident involved Kwara United and another unknown car in a head-on collision happened in Elegbeka near Ifon, a settlement in Ondo state.
SavidNews learnt that the ilorin-based outfit had their coaches in a car and the players and other team officials in a bus. Sources at the scene confirmed that the two officials survived the incident unhurt.
Heading to Bayelsa, coach Abdulrahman was handed a three-match ultimatum to get Kwara United who are currently 13th on the NPFL log to bring the team back to winning ways.
