Lampard reveals player who is ‘future of Chelsea’

Chelsea interim manager Frank Lampard believes Enzo Fernandez might be the club’s “future.”
Toddy Boehly, the Blues’ co-owner, paid £107 million to sign Fernandez from Benfica in January.
However, the transfer has so far underwhelmed, despite the fact that Fernandez has offered a spark in several games and may eventually realize his potential.
“For a young player to achieve what he’s achieved in this footballing year is amazing,” Lampard told reporters on Tuesday.
“It’s a difficult time for him to come to the club, but it’s a challenge that will help him grow.” He is Chelsea’s future.”
